Notes: Written for the comment_fic prompt: Undivided attention. The challenge was to write a fill using only 99 words.

One of the things Kirk wishes he'd known earlier is that Vulcans are natural multitaskers. Spock doesn't seem entirely content unless he's concentrating on at least three or four separate things at once. It makes him an excellent first officer, but Kirk admits that when he first took over the Enterprise it constantly threw him, never knowing if the Vulcan was calculating equations or organising rotas in his head while they talked.

On that note, another thing Kirk wishes he'd known earlier is that all it takes to get Spock's complete, undivided attention is to take his clothes off.
