Nice to see there are those out there who don't mind the "cheesy" special effects etc. that were, at the time, cutting edge.
I'm British. Ever seen old episodes of Doctor Who? There's one episode from the 70s where the monster is made of green bubble wrap. XD Next to that, Star Trek doesn't look so bad.
I'll definitely check out the links you've posted. You know, despite the numerous "Get off my lawn" posts on ffrants, I've found that the old fans are generally really accepting of the newbies. It's nice. :)
