Aww, this really cheered me up and I really needed it today, too. Loved Spock in the nest of blankets, and a very sweet Kirk. The 'stupid stubborn Vulcan' at the start and the gentle chiding about having to hear it from Stephen, plus Spock's not keeping the soup down despite Kirk's good intentions are the little touches of realism that made the story even more gratifying to read, because it's not so sweet that it's not believable.

Oh I do enjoy these little slice of life, domestic scenes! Thank you for writing this :)
